Born from WorldTour testing and feedback, the Alleycat is engineered primarily for racing and training missions in nasty weather, where variable light conditions, fast descents, and drastic shifts in temperature are a given.

Product description

Extreme conditions call for radical departures from tradition, so we tore up the rules for rain jackets and reassembled the parts in a hybrid design that addresses the needs of specific body locations in the mercurial weather of spring racing, fall maintenance, and winter training. The reflective, breathable upper panel repels water and wind and flashes reflectivity to keep you seen on overcast days. The lighter lower panels promote breathability to regulate temperatures when you’re in Zone 3 and up, and the sleeves, collar, and side panels boost stretch to preserve the signature ASSOS fit.

FEATURED FABRICS

Our 2L Silver Haze membrane headlines the Alleycat, shielding the leading edge against wind and rain. Lighter Yubari panels increase breathability without compromising water-repellency in less exposed areas, and the high-stretch Push Pull textile pushes comfort and breathability while pulling the jacket further into aerodynamic fit territory.
CONSTRUCTION/FIT

Our aeroFit is tailored for racing, so the Alleycat is best layered over EQUIPE RS equipment rather than regularFit GT line. Raw-cut hem reduces layering bulk for uncompromising aerodynamics.

Double-sided zipper: Ventilates from the top or bottom, keeping the waterproof barrier secure against falling rain or rising road spray.

Reflex: Reflective strip down the center back flashes light in low-light conditions, complementing Silver Haze’s general reflectivity.
